Bridges From Kuwait rescue in Pittsburgh, PA has been helping bring over cats from Kuwait for almost a year. Kuwait is a country that dislikes animals as a whole. There are virtually no humane animal laws and no shelters. Animals are abused, tortured, and thrown out like trash. Animals are sold in a flea market sick and dying. The abuse of animals over there is truly heartbreaking.
Since Covid, we have only been able to bring them over via cargo at a very steep price. Just today Kuwait put a notice on a building that is housing 50+ cats and a bunch of dogs that they must remove all the animals immediately. These animals have no where to go. Imagine a country with no shelters and very few people who care about the lives of animals.
We desperately need to fly cats here before they end up outside. Kuwait is talking about exterminating all outside animals soon. Please help us!
